PSS GM Full Size SUV Armored Vehicle Window Motor Control Modules.
These modules are designed to allow the use of alternate window motors in armored GMT K2xx vehicle applications without error messages being displayed in the driver information center (DIC) & while retaining the OEM window switches.
Available for 2015-2020 and 2021-2024 model year GM full size SUV applications including:

The Product & Service Solutions (PSS) GMT K2 armored vehicle window control modules are intended for use in armored and protective service vehicle applications when alternate window motors are required. The PSS modules are designed to allow alternate window motors to be used in place of the production driver and passenger front 7 pin window lift motors in 2015-2024 model year GM full size SUV’s including the Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade. Because these window lift motors are a “smart” module that communicates with the vehicle you cannot simply remove the motor and install a new motor. Doing so will cause diagnostic error messages to appear on the driver information display, can cause retained power problems and requires using non-factory window switches.
Two modules, a driver and a front passenger side window control module, must be used in all GM full size SUVs, even if you do not plan to have all windows functioning. We also offer a version of these modules with no wire leads for applications that don’t have functioning windows. Contact us for details.
The PSS window control modules provide the following functions:
- Plug into the factory window control harness and connector.
- Retain the factory window switches (Note: Express Up & Down functions no longer present)
- Control window position at the door into which it is installed via the factory push button switch.
- Driver side factory window switches retain control of driver, passenger front and passenger rear windows (when present).
- Allow alternate window motors to be used without causing error lights or messages to appear on the driver information center (DIC)
- Monitor and report door open/closed position
- Splash resistant sealed enclosure
- Note: Express Up, Express Down & Pinch Protection features are not present in these modules.
