Armored Vehicle Window Control Modules for GM Full Size SUVs

These armored vehicle modules are specifically designed to facilitate the use of alternate window motors in GM full size SUV applications based on the GMT K2xx platform. This ensures that no error messages are displayed in the driver information center (DIC) while maintaining compatibility with the OEM window switches.

These modules are available for 2015-2020 and 2021-2025 model year GM full size SUVs, including:

The Product & Service Solutions (PSS) window motor control modules for GMT K2 armored vehicles are intended for use when alternate window motors are required in armored and protective service vehicle applications. These PSS modules allow the integration of alternate window motors in place of the production driver and passenger front 7 pin window lift motors in 2015-2024 model year GM full size SUVs, such as the Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, and Escalade. It's important to note that since these window lift motors function as "smart" modules communicating with the vehicle, simply replacing the motor with a new one will trigger diagnostic error messages on the driver information display, potentially cause retained power issues, and necessitate the use of non-factory window switches.

To ensure proper functionality, both driver and front passenger side window control modules must be used in all GM full size SUVs, even if you do not intend to have all windows operational. We also provide a version of these modules without wire leads for applications lacking functioning windows. Please contact us for more details.

The PSS window motor control modules offer the following features:

- Plug into the factory window control harness and connector.

- Retain the factory window switches (Note: Express Up & Down functions are no longer available).

- Control window position at the door where it is installed via the factory push button switch.

- Driver side factory window switches maintain control of driver, passenger front, and passenger rear windows (when applicable).

- Allow alternate window motors to be utilized without triggering error lights or messages on the driver information center (DIC).

- Monitor and report the door open/closed position.

- Feature a splash resistant sealed enclosure.

Note: Express Up, Express Down & Pinch Protection features are not included in these modules.
